How To Create an Allergy-Free, At-Home Workspace

COVID-19 has affected the world in so many ways. Social distancing has become a necessity in order to contain and prevent the virus from spreading. While it is nice to work at home and it can offer a lot of benefits to people, it can also bring a couple of health issues, especially in spring. Your pet’s hair, dander, dust, molds, and outside pollen in your home can trigger allergy symptoms. In order to be as productive and comfortable while working, you have to make sure that your at-home workspace is free from these indoor allergens that could make this a miserable time.   • Reduce seasonal allergens

While it is nice to open up the windows and let the fresh air enter as you work, it’s not always so nice when it is spring and there is pollen starting to come into your home. A good way to avoid this is to work further away from the window or just keep them closed during peak pollen times.

  • Take your allergy medication

When you have an allergy, it is important to keep your medications ready should you need it, especially now that quarantine is ongoing. Whenever the symptoms start showing, make sure to take the prescribed medication.
